I am just me! diary of a Mama...

Who I am? ...Just me. Housewife, mother of two, daughter of a couple, who after 37 years or so of marriage, are still together, sister, auntie etc. Nothing special but certainly not lame by any means. I am obsessive, overly sensitive, and constantly doubtful of what I bring to the table. No, not dinner! My contributions in life. I don't think this makes me unique in anyway, but maybe relatable, if such a word exists.

First entry to my chronicles of everyday mundane life. My husband was off today, So I got to sleep in! YEAH for me, especially since I was up until 3 am watching TV, popping black heads, and eating a pint of butter pecan. Which probably didn't help my middle age acne problem. When I woke up at 11:30, yes I know terrible, my husband wasn't home. I figured he was off having lunch with the boys which he often does on his days off. My husband is a wonderful father, really he is, better father than I am a mother at times. He never looses his cool, and really knows how to manipulate the boys in thinking about the situation. Not me, I am an irrational screamer. I react instantly and not always the right way. I have a short fuse therefore explode. I am also softhearted, I melt very easily with sniffles and tears. so my boys have caught on to this, and use it whenever possible. After having lunch myself and asking my hubby to watch a movie with me "Julia and Julie "which is how this whole blogging has come about. Well NOT entirely true. I am also going to be published in a South Texas magazine, I will be writing a column about my life with the boys. So after seeing the movie and knowing I will have to write cute and clever stories about the stupid things my kids do. I decided to blog to help me remember the day so my column can be authentic and interesting. Also for those of you, which I am not sure who you are! Who want to read my snippets of life and are not able to get copies of the magazine in your area. This is for you. Wait just a minute...!!! OK I am back Keyton just came in crying. He was using a pen instead of a pencil to do his homework and drew pictures instead of writing sentences. The pics were last nights homework. He is a perfectionist, and posseses a huge ego. Way to huge for a 7 year old if you ask me. So Mama to the rescue. I put on my cape and flew down the stairs to solve the homework fiasco. Now, I am back! I also want to let you know that I will probably have several enteries in one day, so just prepare yourself for a fun ride.
